The things that some children are subjected to are appalling. <BR/>As your friend Kelli's Mom,I thank God for the values I was raised by and therefore, that's how my kids were raised. I was a Ward of the State of Maine for the first three years of my life and then was adopted into a wonderful, loving home. Had that not happened, I dread to think how my life would have been.<BR/>I searched many years ago and found out about my birth family.. that is another whole story in itself. I was so lucky to grow up in the family I did and not my birth family. I have brothers and sisters who did not fare as well.<BR/>You are always wondering if you are doing the right things with Jordon. I think you are a great Mom. I love reading about both of you.
